Every girl loves a good surprise. You want to do something so special that your girlfriend will never forget the generosity and pure unselfishness that you have given her. Do you think about what else you could do that will really catch your girlfriend off-guard but doesn’t involve the same old stereotypical romantic gestures?
1) A surprise that every girl loves is sending flowers to her work. Even though sending flowers or giving flowers could potentially fall under that stereotypical romantic gesture, this is a gift that will always catch your girlfriend off-guard. It will bring her great joy and pleasure being able to show her co-workers how special and thoughtful her boyfriend is.
2) Think about your girlfriend’s interests. If she loves music, reading, or watching movies, think about different events around your city or town that you could take her to. For example, if she loves reading books by a particular author and that author is doing a book signing in or around the area take her to it. If her favorite local band is in town, surprise her by taking her to the venue without her knowing they will be around. If the drive-in theater is playing old romantic movies for one night only, rearrange your plans and take her. She will appreciate the fact that you are keeping her interests in mind and that you are truly listening to her needs, her likes, and her interests.
3) If you don’t have a lot of money lying around, do something simple by slipping a love note or a famous romantic quote into your girlfriend’s purse, coat pocket, briefcase, book bag, or shoulder bag. When she finds these cute, romantic notes she will smile and think about how special your relationship is and how perfect you two are together.
4) Every year there are many different types of conventions and special events that take place in most cities around the country. If your girlfriend loves arts and crafts, surprise her with a road trip out of town to a hobby and crafts show. Not only will you be giving your girlfriend a romantic day filled with fun conversation during your road trip but you will be taking her to an event that you know she will go “gaga” over.
5) So, you found out a local Animal Show is coming to town. Your girlfriend loves pets and animals and even occasionally volunteers at various animal shelters around the area. She doesn’t know about this event. Instead of sitting around at home watching movies on television or trying to figure out what to do on a weekend, take her to these types of Animal and Pet Shows. You both will feel so full of joy; you will feel happy seeing how happy she is and she will be happy just being around all of these creatures that she absolutely loves and adores. You can’t lose!
6) Surprise her with an all-day shopping trip. Let her pick the location of where she wants to shop, tag along, and even though you may loathe shopping, enmesh yourself into her world and you will learn to enjoy it just as much as she does.
7) If you want to keep the mystery in your relationship, putting together a scavenger hunt is the ideal way to keep the mystery and surprise her with a wonderful romantic ending to the hunt. Start by placing clues on the bathroom mirror, the front door, or even on the windows of her car. Giving her little clues to this romantic ending will keep her in suspense all day and will make her anxious to get home to you to find out what this big romantic surprise is. Once she figures out all the clues, end the all-day hunt with a trail of rose petals, a candlelit dinner, and sensual massage.
If your girlfriend has a spare key lying around to her car, show up at work and fill it with balloons that have special notes inside of them or even flowers or rose petals. She will absolutely love it and will most likely rush home after work to embrace you and cover you from head to toe with kisses.
9) Show up where your girlfriend works around the time she would go on her lunch break and either bring lunch to her or “kidnap” her away from her job to take her out for a surprise lunch. This will definitely brighten up her day and will relieve the stress she has endured throughout the morning.
10) Just be there for her. This is the biggest surprise that any guy can give their girlfriend. Knowing that your girlfriend is going through a difficult time with family, friends, or their jobs. Since most guys aren’t sensitive to the needs and challenges their girlfriends are going through, just being their for her will be the most satisfying and the most rewarding surprise.
